Peer Pressure

When I started writing this chapter, to look at Peer Pressure and it’s value, I’ll be honest: my first reaction was to think of the expression in a negative sense. You only have to do a web search to find pages of articles that reinforce that negativity, with titles such as: “How to Eliminate Peer Pressure,” and “Social Media’s Responsibility When It Comes to Peer Pressure.” I’ve written this chapter to help leaders, managers, individuals, and HR professionals explore how to leverage positive peer pressure to create and sustain an Agile People and Culture. By the end of this read, you will know What it is, Why it’s important, and gain insights on Who benefits from it, and How we can leverage it.
