    Kevin Empey

    Kevin has specialized in people strategy and organization and leadership development for over 25 years. He is the founder and Managing Director of WorkMatters, an international consulting and training firm focused on helping business leaders, HR leaders, and their employees succeed in the changing world of work.
    Before establishing WorkMatters, Kevin led several start-up organizations and was a Partner and Director in Willis Towers Watson, where he led the firm’s HR and Talent consulting business and their Future of Work practice in Ireland.
    Kevin is a qualified executive coach and a member of the associate faculty at the Irish Management Institute, where he directs their Senior Executive Program. His award-winning research work has focused on organizational agility and the human implications concerning the “future of work.”
    Kevin was appointed to the Irish Civil Service’s Top Level Appointments Committee (TLAC) and was a member of the Labor Market Council in Ireland during the financial crisis in 2008-2012. He also founded Worklink; an inter­natio­nally recognized coaching and mentoring organization set up to help unemployed jobseekers in Ireland.
    Kevin has won several national and international awards for his work in the areas of social entrepreneurship, employment policy, and “Future of Work” research.
