This course is run online in a flipped classroom format – a blend of online videos which cover theory and concepts, with 5 intensive online sessions where we put theory and tools into practise.

Session B2: Emergent Strategy and Value Creation
Discover the power of aligning teams around a compelling purpose and creating a shared vision that inspires high performance. Gain insights into empathizing with customers to enhance their experience and maximize value creation. Learn how to make customer value visible and drive focused value creation in your organization.
Session B3: Frameworks Tools and Techniques
Learn the essence of agility and its emphasis on adapting to change. Explore customer-centricity and prioritization to deliver value efficiently. Discover how Lean StartUp and agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban can be applied beyond software development. Gain practical insights into designing processes using agile methods.
Session B4: New Ways of Thinking and Behaving
Gain insight into complex adaptive system dynamics and their role in achieving Business Agility. Learn how to navigate organizational dynamics using tools like “Polarity Management” and the “Cynefin Decision Making Model.” Explore the concept of the “Ladder of Inference” to understand and manage thinking and behavioural patterns.

Due to our VUCA world, we will explore what is needed in the business to embrace agility, deepen understanding of the structure/culture misfit, and why transformation can fail.
FAQ
Do I need any pre-competence?
No prior competence is required to enrol in this online course. We adapt our approach to suit the participants’ individual levels and needs. As an added benefit, you will also gain proficiency in utilizing modern digital tools such as digital canvases, video meeting platforms, Kanban boards, and more.
How does the process look for this training?
This course will leverage virtual online tools for effective communication, learning, and interaction. To fully participate, you will need a stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that provides a quiet background. Throughout the course, we will engage in breakout sessions using Zoom and utilize our community platform for ongoing communication between instructor-led sessions. Detailed instructions regarding the practical aspects of the course will be provided during the initial session.
Are the sessions scheduled on specific days at specific times?
The course sessions are scheduled in advance according to a predetermined yearly schedule. If you are unable to attend a session, you will have the opportunity to make it up during a later session.
If after the course completion I wish to become ICAgile certified, what is the process?
As part of the course you will be given a certification assignment which consist of responding to specific questions following each session. Once you turn in your assignment and it is approved by your trainer (including any feedback provided) you will have the option to purchase your ICAgile certificate from the Agile People shop.
- It’s important to note that the cost of the ICAgile certificate for your completed assignment is not included in the course fee. Additionally, the certificate download will be made available directly from ICAgile.
Will I get a certification of completion from Agile People?
Yes, Agile People certificates are automatically included in the course fee. After the course is successfully concluded, you will be able to download your Agile People Participation Certificate from the Agile People website.
Online Delivery
To facilitate interactive discussions and team exercises, we will utilize Zoom as our primary platform during the course. Mural will serve as the digital canvas for collaborative activities, while our dedicated community platform will facilitate communication between sessions.
As a participant, you will receive exclusive access to the Agile People Campus, our comprehensive Learning Management System located on agilepeople.com. This platform provides a wealth of resources, including videos, articles, documents, and case studies related to each session. It also includes direct links to all the tools used during the training. Additionally, you will have digital access to our three books, enriching your learning experience.
Please allocate an estimated three hours per week for post-session work, which may include assignments and exercises.
Course literature and materials will be distributed digitally to ensure easy access and flexibility. To prepare for the final session, you will complete a certification assignment during the course duration.
Open Classroom Training
- Open classroom training is offered in a number of countries depending on interest.
- Enrol 5 to 8 participants for the same scheduled courses and receive a discount of 15% per person on existing course prices.
- Enrol 9+ participants for the same scheduled courses and receive a discount of 20% per person on existing course prices.

Events cancellation policy for online courses:
If you need to cancel your registration, please send a written notification to [email protected]. Please use the course name in the subject line for quick identification.
- We will refund 85% for cancellations received 21+ days before the start of the event.
- We will refund 50% for cancellations received between 15-20 days before the event’s start.
- We will refund 25% for cancellations received between 10 – 14 days before the event’s start
- We will issue no refund for cancellations received within 10 days of the event starting.
- You are most welcome to send a colleague or alternate in your place.

Helgi Gudmundsson
Helgi is a passionate agile practitioner, professional coach, and facilitator with over fifteen years of experience developing organisations and teams spanning private-, not-for-profit-, and startup sectors. Having both served and led on over a dozen leadership and project teams and with hands on experience guiding an organisation through a 15-month change process, Helgi brings a combination of exploration, concrete experience and an evidence based approach to developing agility, effective leadership and robust collaboration at all levels. Helgi holds degrees in International Business & Marketing as well as Occupational & Organisational Psychology, with a further specialisation in Conflict Resolution, Group Facilitation, and Professional Coaching (ICF). He is the co-author of the ICP-ALP Agile Leadership course, in collaboration with Pia-Maria Thorén.
