We are so pleased to be able to offer a weekend program, in response to your feedback, for participants to help you acquire your ICAgile ICP-AHR qualification. In this course, we explore the Fundamentals of Agile, HR and People management Agility and how the roles and responsibilities of HR and People lead roles can create and support an Agile organization!
In this course, we are exploring Organizational Agility and how to evolve the People processes (e.g. performance management, organizational learning, rewards and hiring) to unleash the People potential of your organization!
At Agile People, we believe it is everyone's responsibility (not only HR's) to create and grow an Agile organization!
Today the most progressive companies have changed the role of HR to a more coaching role serving all the people, not just management. A similar shift is happening for managers, who strive to become servant leaders of the organization. Many organizations are experimenting with alternative management structures (self-management, agile values), ways of working (like Scrum), and people practices that allow a truly Agile culture to thrive.
You will leave this experience enriched with both knowledge and practical skills to bring forward new ways of working around people processes and practices in your organization. Whether you work in HR, in management or in any other role, you will be empowered to create lasting change in your workplace.
The program is made up of 5 interactive online Saturday sessions, taking place over 5 months. This has been designed to allow for busy working weeks for many participants, though also to allow for transfer of learning back into the workplace.
Schedule and Learning Format
The program is made up of 5 x interactive live online sessions spread out over 5 months. This schedule and pace has been designed to allow for busy working weeks for many participants.
In between sessions, you will have access to 5 self-paced online learning modules (1-2 hours).
In addition, you will have access to individual course Workbooks for reflection, a Slack channel to collaborate with other participants and a case study to apply your new skills to in a safe environment. The Slack channel is also access to a community to share and learn from each other.
Beginning Saturday, January 16th, 2021 and ending in May, on Saturday 15th, 2021.
Each session is 4 hours and runs between 10am and 2pm GMT/UK time

The target audience for this training includes people working within HR and other Culture/Engagement & People related roles within companies transforming to more Agile ways of working. Their current responsibilities may include aspects such as people development, recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee engagement/motivation.

Agile People Fundamentals 1: Introduction to Agile People and important principles/tools
In our first session we explore Agile People Principles & Tools. We look at the Agile mindset and the principles and values that underpin it. We also look at Agile methods and tools that we need to start using to increase business agility. We also cover Psychological safety as a foundation for a learning organization. We play "The Psychological Safety Game" to facilitate dialogue about difficult topics. During this session, we also discuss your challenges and personal learning goals to ensure the sessions are tailored in such a a way that you have an AWESOME learning experience. Agile People Fundamentals 2: Creating Conditions for Change and Growing an Agile Culture
We look at emerging strategies instead of long-term planning, and new ways of working with strategy, budgets, goals, performance processes, and rewards. We explore how to create conditions for a fantastic culture where people can perform at their optimal level with a sense of being supported and secure. We look at the Agile principles of Boundary Spanning and the Buddy System to increase cross-border collaboration and increase the opportunity to create a fantastic organization together. We discuss tips, examples & practical ways to move forward in the change journey and how HR and managers need to change their role to support it.
Agile People HR 1: How HR's role is changing and how HR can use Agile tools to increase it's agility
We look at how to design the talent/people elements needed to help support an Agile transition in an organization. This session looks at new ways of approaching job titles, competency profiles, career, succession - how do we do it in an agile organization? We gain practical experience of User stories for HR and a the role of a T-shaped HR-person. Throughout the session, we experience many agile tools and practices, such as Kanban, Retrospectives, Kudos walls, Experience Mapping and explore how they can be applied in HR to add value.
Agile People HR 2: Goals, Performance & Rewards
We appraise current performance management practices andntify ways of bringing Agile thinking to enhance performance, accountability, and growth. We explore the role of the environment in individual performance through immersion in psychological theory & practical exercises. We introduce OKRs as a new way of approaching goal setting. We describe and contrast traditional incentive structures with Agile-friendly structures, discuss the pros and cons of each approach, and explain how you could apply them to your environment.
Agile People H3: Talent Acquisition, Engagement & Learning
We design a sourcing strategy that can be used to find and acquire the "right" people to support the strategic growth of the organization taking values, culture, diversity, and collaboration into the hiring decision. We also look an designing an onboarding experience that enables new employees to become a part of the organization rapidly and smoothly. We recommend different motivational tools to be applied in a context and describe how the traditional employee engagement survey is changing. We discuss ways to enable and support a learning mindset in a team, supporting the shift from a focus on deficiencies to a focus on the development of new skills and capabilities.
ICAgile Certified Professional - Agility in HR (ICP-AHR)
This training is certified by International Consortium for Agile (ICAgile), a certification and accreditation body.
Upon completion of the course and submission and approval of your course assignment, you will receive (knowledge) certification in ICP-Agility in HR.

This course will be delivered online consisting of the 5 interactive sessions and related offline self-study. Prior to our first session, you will receive access to the Agile People Learning Management System where you will access all of the course content, workbooks, and supporting materials.
We are working with Zoom for live sessions, Mural as a digital canvas for collaboration, Trello for keeping track of the agenda items and exercises, and Slack for communication between the sessions.
We will provide you guided information to access all of the various tools prior to our first session as well as on-going throughout the experience.
There will be some work to be done after every session, so this class will need your full attention during these 5 sessions. The certification assignment can be accomplished in the time between the sessions so that you will be ready on the day of the last session. But in this intense tempo, we recommend that you do the assignment after the training has stopped. You will have 6 weeks to submit your assignment from completion of the program.
Events cancellation policy
If you should have to cancel your registration, notification in writing should be sent to email@example.com. Please make sure you state the name of the conference/event in the subject line of your email.
- The online course requires a minimum number of attendees to happen (quorum)
- Confirmation of the online course will be sent to all registered attendees as soon as the quorum is reached and, in any case, not later than one week from the beginning of the course
The cancellation policy for registered attendees is:
- for cancellations received no later than 2 weeks before that start of the course, 100% of the registration fee will be refunded
- for cancellations received no later than 1 week before that start of the course, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded
No refund for cancellations received one week or less before the start of the course. The attendee will still have access to all training material and to the e-learning platform; the attendee will be allowed to join a future edition of the same course at no extra charge.
An attendee may transfer their registration to another person, as long as the request is received by the organizers not later than 24 hours before the start of the course.
In case the organizer is forced to cancel the entire course because the quorum was not reached: registered attendees will be refunded in full.
In case the organizer is forced to cancel part of the course due to force majeure and the training sessions cannot be rescheduled: the attendees will be refunded for the number of training hours that were cancelled.
