Bjarte's experience demonstrates that Beyond Budgeting is not just a financial strategy but a comprehensive management philosophy. It emphasizes performance in broader terms, advocating for transparency, autonomy, and intrinsic motivation. Importantly, Bjarte stresses the need for coherence between leadership values and management processes. This talk also introduces the Viable Map, a tool for designing and assessing management models based on Beyond Budgeting principles. Bjarte shares success stories from various sectors, highlighting the adaptability and effectiveness of Beyond Budgeting in diverse organizational contexts. In conclusion, Bjarte's insights offer a radical yet practical perspective on management and leadership, emphasizing the need for change in traditional practices to achieve better organizational performance and employee motivation.
