About The Course

The Agile People Coach course is designed for individuals working within organizations, either as employees or consultants, who aspire to promote and instil agile principles and values throughout the entire company. By joining this course, you will engage in lively discussions, exchanging ideas, and finding inspiration from a community of like-minded individuals who share a common objective: fostering business agility and facilitating organizational learning and transformation by assisting HR professionals and leaders in cultivating an agile mindset.
Being an Agile People Coach encompasses more than being an Agile Coach, despite both roles requiring a fundamental grasp of agile values, tools, methods, systems theory, and organizational dynamics. The key distinction lies in the profound emphasis on people. Throughout this training program, you will acquire the skills to effectively coach individuals, helping them discover their strengths and enabling an environment that encourages collaborative performance.

Training Schedule
During this training program, you will engage in a series of 20 intensive and interactive online sessions, each lasting between 2 to 3 hours. These sessions will be spread over a period of 20 days, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. In the event that you are unable to attend a session, you will have the opportunity to make it up during the next course round, scheduled for a later date in 2023.
The certification fee for each ICP (e.g. ICP-BAF, ICP-AHR,ICP-LEA) course is NOT included in the course fee. To get an ICAgile certification, you need to complete the certification tasks, get it approved and after that you can buy the certificate from us.

Session C1: Agile Coaching and the Four Roles of a Coach
Explore the stances of an Agile Coach – mentoring, teaching, facilitating, and coaching, and learn to master each one for success. Understand the distinctions between an Agile Coach and an Agile People Coach and how to choose the appropriate approach based on the organization, situation, and individuals involved.
Session C2: The Agile People Coach – a new Role for HR and Managers
We explore the nine roles of the Agile People Coach and conduct a self-assessment to gauge your proficiency in these roles and identify areas for improvement. FAQ
Do I need any pre-competence?
No prior competence is required to enrol in this online course. We adapt our approach to suit the participants’ individual levels and needs. As an added benefit, you will also gain proficiency in utilizing modern digital tools such as digital canvases, video meeting platforms, Kanban boards, and more.
How does the process look for this training?
This course will leverage virtual online tools for effective communication, learning, and interaction. To fully participate, you will need a stable internet connection and a dedicated workspace that provides a quiet background. Throughout the course, we will engage in breakout sessions using Zoom and utilize our community platform for ongoing communication between instructor-led sessions. Detailed instructions regarding the practical aspects of the course will be provided during the initial session.
Are the sessions scheduled on specific days at specific times?
The course sessions are scheduled in advance according to a predetermined yearly schedule. If you are unable to attend a session, you will have the opportunity to make it up during a later session.
After training completion, what is the process to become ICAgile Certified?
The certification process entails completing the certification assignment and responding to specific questions after each session. Once your work is finalized and approved, including any feedback provided, you will have the option to purchase your ICAgile certificate from the Agile People shop. It’s important to note that the cost of the ICAgile certificate for your completed assignment is not included in the course fee. Additionally, the certificate download will be made available directly from ICAgile.
As for the Agile People Participation Certificates, they are included in the training price upon successful completion of the course. After the course concludes, you will be able to download your Agile People Participation Certificate from the Agile People website.
Online Delivery
To facilitate interactive discussions and team exercises, we will utilize Zoom as our primary platform during the course. Mural will serve as the digital canvas for collaborative activities, while our dedicated community platform will facilitate communication between sessions.
As a participant, you will receive exclusive access to the Agile People Campus, our comprehensive Learning Management System located on agilepeople.com. This platform provides a wealth of resources, including videos, articles, documents, and case studies related to each session. It also includes direct links to all the tools used during the training. Additionally, you will have digital access to our three books, enriching your learning experience.
Please allocate an additional three hours per week for post-session work, which may include assignments and exercises. Course literature and materials will be distributed digitally to ensure easy access and flexibility. To prepare for the final session, you will complete a certification assignment during the course duration.

Events cancellation policy
If you need to cancel your registration, please send a written notification to [email protected]. Kindly ensure that the subject line of your email includes the name of the conference or event for proper identification.
- We will refund 85% for cancellations received 60 days before the start of the event.
- We will refund 50% for cancellations received between 59 days before 31 days to the event’s start.
- We will refund 25% for cancellations received between 30 days before 15 days to the event’s start.
- We will issue no refund for cancellations received within 15 days of the event.
