[Italian] Agile People Leadership ICP-LEA
Although the changed view on leaders and of the formal manager role is far from mainstream today, many organizations are experimenting with alternative structures, replacing budgets with forecasts and dynamic resource allocations, to create the best possible value.
In today’s fast-paced world we see more and more self-organization and self-leadership within people and teams. Information and knowledge are transparent to everyone and power is no anymore in the hands of a few. Does that mean traditional leaders or HR managers and the like become obsolete? Or is there an alternative future role that would be a natural step when leaving the process-oriented and transactional leadership style in favor of ways of working more suitable for a complex reality?
You will leave this experience having gained both knowledge and practical skills to bring forward new ways of working and being that enable leading in agility within yourself to then enable others and in the environment creating lasting change, engagement, and a truly empowered workplace.
The program is designed in flipped-classroom format.. we cover the 5 key topics of the course via a blended approach:
- Self-study of theory and key concepts via course videos and reading in our comprehensive LMS system
- 2 hour live sessions via Zoom where we engage in active discussion, exploration, and practice.
- Expect around 1 hour of self-study in between every 2 hour live session.
- Access to the course LMS is available for a total of 16 weeks.

Agile People Leadership
L1 The Why & What of Leading with Agility
Exploring the changing environment & dynamics that call for a different approach to leading and following. What are some of the attitudes, expectations, and concrete behaviors we expect to see from people who lead with agility.
L2 Behaviors that Enable Agility
In making a radical change or transformation, understanding where are we coming from, where are we now, and what we are heading towards is crucial. We explore the evolution of leadership theories and styles and the dynamics of power & influence, and how we can grow our own personal agility.
L3 Knowing & Connecting with Yourself
Leading others starts with developing our own self-leadership. In this session, we explore the inner game of leading.. self-awareness, heuristics (cognitive biases), and specific leadership mind-traps. How we can become more mindful in unlocking those mind-traps to grow as leaders.
We explore the Clear Leadership model developed by Gervase Bushe, and how to develop the 4 selves of the Leader.. the Aware Self, the Descriptive Self, the Curious Self, and the Appreciative Self. We explore several key contexts where we can put these into practice… to better check in with people; give and receive effective feedback, step into coaching leadership, and defuse conflicts through creating inter-personal clarity.
L5 Skillful Communication
Communicating effectively; relating to others, creating and maintaining healthy interactions, having productive conversations, and ultimately the ability to influence others requires both practice and an understanding of the dynamics of effective communication. In this session, explore several mental models that enable better communication, and the power of effective storytelling to move and influence others.
This highly interactive course will give you the foundation, the roadmap, and tools to grow in your Agile People skills – from building your capacity and skill in self-leadership, to leading others at all levels in the organization and ultimately how to support and enable others to lead at all levels.
You will also be welcomed into the Agile People network.. a global network of agile professionals collaborating to promote and help modern organizations towards increased Business Agility.
We are working with Zoom for presentations and team exercises, Trello for keeping track of the agenda items and exercises, and Slack for communication between the sessions. There will be some work to be done after every session, so add about 5 hours more every week. Course literature and material will be sent to your location and distributed digitally.
During the period, you take part in 2-hour sessions. Total 5 sessions. The date and time are the start of every session.
Do I need any pre-competence?
You don’t need any pre-competence for agile to attend the online course. We are tailoring the course for the participants and your level.
How does the process look for this training?
The training is a copy of the physical training but we will use online tools instead of face-to-face meetings. You will need a good internet connection and an undisturbed workplace where you can have a quiet background. We will work in break-out sessions in Zoom and use Slack för communication between the instructor-led sessions, which will happen every week between 15-17 Central European Time.
All material will be shared via a Trello board and a Google drive. We will let you know everything about practicalities during the first session.

After training completion, what is the process to become ICAgile Certified?
The process of certification is that you need to finalize the certification assignment, which is to describe how you would turn around HR and leadership in a company that has gone bankrupt due to not being agile enough (real case, a Swedish fashion company). When the assignment is finalized (approved with feedback from us), we will make your certificate download available from ICAgile via a link.

- We will refund 85% for cancellations received 60 days before the start of the event.
- We will refund 50% for cancellations received 59 days and 31 days before the event starts.
- We will refund 25% for cancellations received 30 days and 14 days before the event’s start.

I spent several years working in large companies in different areas (business development, marketing, sourcing, organization, digital innovation) measuring myself in different fields, from software simulation and validation, to strategic sourcing and finally to organizational methodologies. In these experiences I was able to put into practice what I learned in my studies and learn new things using my ability to see and my propensity to think out of the box. Now is the time to help companies improve themselves by providing them with an external, competent and sometimes visionary, point of view. That’s why I decided to take care of companies, and even before the people who make them live, from outside as a consultant.
